No change in Palestine stance, says Saudi Arabia after opening airspace to all carriers
"Saudi Arabia confirmed that its firm and constant stance toward the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people will not change by allowing international flights to cross the Kingdom's airspace," he said. The official stressed that "the decision to allow the use of airspace for all airlines is linked to international obligations, and this step does not mean that it is a prelude to other steps."

European diplomat: Space for negotiating Iran deal revival ‘almost exhausted’
European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell warned Tuesday that the space for further negotiations on restoring the 2015 Iran nuclear deal is almost exhausted, and said it is now time for swift political decisions to conclude the deal. “After 15 months of intense, constructive negotiations in Vienna…., I have concluded that the space for additional significant compromises has been exhausted,” Borrell wrote in the Financial Times Tuesday (July 26).

Israel to boost Asia flights when Saudi Arabia opens airspace
Israeli airlines plan to expand and open new routes to India and other Asian destinations after Saudi Arabia announced it would allow unfettered access to its airspace, a move that would save fuel costs and reduce flight times. In the absence of open relations between the countries, however, and given talks on including Oman in the expanded corridor, Israeli Transportation Minister Merav Michaeli said implementation could take several weeks at least.

Saudi Embassy: 18 Saudi-US Agreements Covering Space, Investment, Energy, Communications and Health Concluded
The bilateral agreements, signed during US President Joe Biden’s visit to the Kingdom comprise 13 agreements made with the Ministry of Investment, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and numerous private sector companies. They include a group of leading American companies, such as Boeing Aerospace, Raytheon Defense Industries, Medtronic and Digital Diagnostics, IKVIA in the healthcare sector, and many other US companies across the energy, tourism, education, manufacturing and textiles sectors. The Saudi Space Authority also signed the Artemis Accords with US Space Agency (NASA), which would allow it to undertake the joint exploration of the Moon and Mars in cooperation with the American space agency, while granting the Kingdom a seat in the international coalition preparing for the civil exploration and use of the Moon, Mars, comets and asteroids for peaceful purposes.
