HRS to open first hydrogen station in Saudi Arabia
Hydrogen Refueling Solutions (HRS), European designer and manufacturer of hydrogen refueling stations, has announced the first order of a hydrogen station outside of Europe, from a Saudi Arabian developer. The site was ordered by a local national energy company and is set to supply a planned fleet of 20 buses and light vehicles, with construction starting in July. As its first station to be sold outside Europe, this marks a decisive step in HRS's strategy of international development.

Chile says Saudi mining minister to visit, lithium expected on agenda
Chile's government said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia's mining minister will travel to the Latin American country in July and plans to meet with his counterpart in Santiago.Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef told Reuters in March the kingdom was interested in sourcing lithium abroad, as it aims to enter the electric vehicle sector."He will indeed be in Chile (in July) and has asked for a meeting with the minister. Saudi aid agency rehabilitates fish landing center in Yemen’s Hodeidah
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman for Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) rehabilitated a fish landing center in Yemen’s Hodeidah, the Saudi Press Agency said. The site was renovated under the emergency support program to protect the agriculture, livestock and fishery-based livelihoods of highly vulnerable populations in Yemen, which is funded by the KSrelief.

Iran General killed in suspected Israel air strike in Syria
An Iranian General has been killed in a suspected Israeli air strike near the Syrian city of Aleppo, nearly two months after the Islamic Republic warned it would retaliate against attacks on its interests, Iran’s state TV reports. According to the report, Saeed Abyar, described as a Military Adviser, was targeted in a bombing raid resulting in the death of several civilians and “material losses”.

Saudi anti-corruption agency finds hidden, destroyed evidence in food poisoning cases
Initial investigations into the recent cases of food poisoning reported in Riyadh found that several attempts had been made to conceal or destroy evidence, Saudi Arabia’s Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) said in a statement on Thursday.
The investigation suggested potential collusion by a small number of food inspectors who prioritized personal gain over public health and safety, the statement added.
