Israel to boost Asia flights when Saudi Arabia opens airspace
Israeli airlines plan to expand and open new routes to India and other Asian destinations after Saudi Arabia announced it would allow unfettered access to its airspace, a move that would save fuel costs and reduce flight times. In the absence of open relations between the countries, however, and given talks on including Oman in the expanded corridor, Israeli Transportation Minister Merav Michaeli said implementation could take several weeks at least.

The Saudi Space Authority also signed the Artemis Accords with US Space Agency (NASA), which would allow it to undertake the joint exploration of the Moon and Mars in cooperation with the American space agency, while granting the Kingdom a seat in the international coalition preparing for the civil exploration and use of the Moon, Mars, comets and asteroids for peaceful purposes.

Saudi Arabia opens airspace to Israeli flights ahead of Biden visit
Saudi Arabia announced late Thursday that it would open its airspace to “all carriers” ahead of President Joe Biden’s visit, a move that ends the ban on flights to and from Israel.
