Row brews in Iran over use of its drones in Ukraine war by Russia
An internal rift over the supply of deadly drones to Russia for use in Ukraine has opened up in Iran, with a prominent conservative cleric and newspaper editor saying Russia is the clear aggressor in the war and the supply should stop. A former Iranian ambassador to Moscow has also hinted the foreign ministry may have been kept in the dark both by the Kremlin and the Iranian military.

Two Saudi Air Force officers survive F15 crash during training
A Royal Saudi Air Force F-15S fighter jet crashed as a result of a technical malfunction during a routine training mission at King Abdulaziz Air Base in the Eastern Province, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense has said. Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki said the aircrew, consisting of two officers, survived the incident after using the ejector seat. No injuries or damage on the ground were reported.

World Races to Secure Gulf Oil for 2023 Amid Russia Uncertainty
Many of the world’s oil refineries are rushing to try and guarantee supplies of Middle East crude for next year, fearful of what’s to become of Russia’s giant export program. In under a month, almost all companies in the European Union will be barred from purchasing seaborne cargoes from Russia -- an attempt by the 27-nation bloc to punish the Kremlin for the invasion of Ukraine.

Saudi Wealth Fund Said to Weigh Bid for Ooredoo’s Tower Unit
American Tower Corp., IHS Holding Ltd. and Helios Towers Plc are also considering binding offers for all or part of the portfolio, according to people, who asked not to be identified as the matter is private. Ooredoo’s tower assets, which span the Persian Gulf region, as well as countries including Algeria, could be valued at $3 billion to $5 billion in any deal, they said.
