A new poll finds that only one in four Americans favors Israel conducting a military strike against Iran’s nuclear program. Seven in ten (69%) favor the US and other major powers continuing to pursue negotiations with Iran, a position that is supported by majorities of Republicans (58%), Democrats (79%) and Independents (67%).

Pakistan top court orders Imran Khan to be presented at court – media
Pakistan's top court on Thursday ordered former Prime Minister Imran Khan be presented before the court in an hour after his legal team challenged his arrest, local media reported, amid violent and widespread protests sparked by his detention. NEOM: Saudi megaproject name, logo explained
The name NEOM was created by using the first three letters of the ancient Greek word – neo, meaning new and the ‘M’ comes from the first letter of the Arabic word – Mustaqbal, meaning future. ‘M’ is also the first letter of the name of the Kingdom’s Crown Prince – Mohammed bin Salman. The name “NEOM” was formed and agreed upon unanimously by the board. The name was finalised after testing lists of over 2,000 names proposed by the consulting team which was then reduced to 150 names and finally five names of which none were chosen.

Metaverse could add $55bn to economies of Saudi Arabia and UAE by 2035, study says
Metaverse technologies have the potential to add a combined $55 billion to the economies of Saudi Arabia and the UAE by 2035, a new study from Facebook parent Meta Platforms suggests. The innovation could contribute up to $38.1 billion and $16.7 billion to the kingdom and the Emirates respectively by the middle of the next decade, as the nations adopt the metaverse, the report by consultancy Deloitte said. The minimum impact would be $20.2 billion for Saudi Arabia and $8.8 billion for the UAE, the study said.
