The chief attraction of using hydrogen as a fuel is that the main by-product is water vapour, along with small amounts of nitrogen oxides, making it far less polluting than fossil fuels - assuming it doesn't seep out. Saudi NEOM inks deal to finance world’s largest green hydrogen facility
NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), an equal joint venture created by ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM, has inked facility agreements with local, regional, and international banks to finance the construction of the world’s largest green hydrogen production plant. The financing deal was signed along with the execution of a commitment letter with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) and significant participation from the National Infrastructure Fund (NIF). Once complete, the facility will be located in NEOM.
