Saudi Arabia’s PIF, ATP announce strategic partnership to enhance global tennis
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the governing body of men’s professional tennis, ATP Tour, announced on Wednesday a new multi-year strategic partnership, in a move that further elevates the Kingdom’s position in the global sports scene. Cristiano Ronaldo has been suspended for one match for making an alleged offensive gesture during a Saudi Pro League game while playing for Al Nassr. After Al Nassr defeated their Riyadh rivals Al-Shabab 3-2 on Sunday, video footage appeared to show Ronaldo cupping his ear and repeatedly thrusting his hand forward near his pelvis, in a gesture that seemed to be aimed at Al-Shabab fans.

Saudi Arabia unveils program to localize 75% of jobs in energy sector
Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said that the ministry is working on a program to Saudize 75 percent of jobs in the energy sector. In his speech at the Human Capacity Initiative, Prince Abdulaziz said that that the Saudi energy sector has better opportunities to achieve high rate of Saudization compared to other sectors. “The energy sector at the global level is struggling with difficulties. According to global statistics, women’s participation in the energy sector represents 15 percent,” he said.
