Arrests target drug dealers, smugglers across Saudi Arabia
Saudi authorities have arrested a number of people across the country for drug-related offenses in recent days. On Saturday, Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Ardah governorate in the Jazan region foiled four attempts to smuggle more than 185 kg of the narcotic plant qat. The General Directorate of Narcotics Control arrested two citizens in the Jazan region for trafficking 32 kg of hashish. They were also found in possession of firearms and live ammunition. Authorities also arrested a citizen in the Northern Borders region for trafficking amphetamine.

Report: Senators ask attorney general to review PGA Tour deal with Saudi Arabia
According to ESPN.com, the letter was sent by Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) to Garland and Assistant Attorney General Jonathan Kanter following last week’s announcement of the agreement, which has not yet been approved by the Tour’s policy board. “The red flags regarding antitrust concerns are clear,” the senators wrote, adding the agreement, “raises an array of potential legal and regulatory issues, including relating to the PGA Tour's non-profit tax status and antitrust law.”

Jordan, Saudi Arabia agree to improve passenger, freight flow
Jordan and Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that they agreed to improve passenger and freight flow between the two countries to facilitate transport and trade exchange, state-run Petra news agency reported. The announcement was made by the Jordanian-Saudi Joint Technical Committee for Land Transport at the conclusion of its meeting in Jordan's capital Amman. At the meeting, the committee discussed boosting road safety on the basis of technical conditions and pushing forward customs projects with technical connectivity between the two countries.
