Saudi Arabia’s presence at the Hannover Industrial Forum, which took place in Hannover, Germany this week, is worth seeing. The Kingdom constructed a massive pavilion to show off business opportunities in Saudi Arabia and provide a networking platform for visitors of the expo in Hannover, Germany.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce and Industry H.E. Dr. Tawfiq al-Rabiah was personally on hand to see the pavilion, and met with other world leaders like Germany’s Angela Merkel and Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
In addition to HE Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, numerous other Saudi public and private sector officials were in Hannover for the event including Abdullatif A. Al-Othman (SAGIA), Saleh Al Rasheed (MODON), Azzam Shalabi (National Industrial Cluster development), Mutlaq H. Al-Morished (Corporate Finance (SABIC)), and Saleh Fahad Al Nazha (TASNEE).
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry held an event within the Hannover event entitled “Saudi Arabia Economic Forum,” which hosts speakers from vital economic sectors in Saudi Arabia such as: Industrial investments, petrochemicals, Foreign investment in Saudi Arabia, heavy industries and more.
H.E. Al-Rabiah is now in France for a two-day forum on Saudi-French relations, organized by the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Around the event in Paris, Saudi ambassador to France Dr. Mohammed bin Ismael Al Al-Sheikh “held a dinner party in Paris this evening to honor visiting Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” according to the SPA.
