“Saudi Arabia imported about 1.323 million tons of grain, that is, approximately 1.9 times more than it was in the same period last year (704 thousand tons),” a statement issued by the group said. The statement added that Egypt was second during the two months, purchasing 1.284 million tons, an increase of 12.1 percent over the same period last year. Turkiye ranked third at 1.283 million tons, a reduction of 6.7 percent.
