The launch of a new website dedicated to the job fair and graduation ceremony will bring all information about the massive event into one online location. The website is available in both English and Arabic.

The site has step-by-step procedures for potential exhibitors to register to participate in the event.

The annual SACM graduation and job fair in the United States, which started in 2009, “has been designed to reward the graduates on the King Abdullah Scholarship Program (KASP) with the chance to both celebrate their success with their colleagues as well as search for jobs and meet top executives from leading companies and universities in Saudi Arabia,” the website notes.

The total number of Saudi students in the United States soared over 79,000 by September of 2013, with 7,283 expected to graduate this year, at an annual increase of 32%, according to Nahlah Al-Jubeir, who is Director of the Center for Career Development at SACM. That program, established in March 2013, is an innovative effort to directly place highly qualified Saudi students into jobs in leading companies in Saudi Arabia by broadening their skill sets and enhancing their professional experience as they enter the workforce.

The top three majors of Saudi students in the United States are business/management, engineering, and IT, according to SACM data.

Saudi students on the King Abdullah Scholarship Program receive direct benefits for their participation in the program, including a monthly stipend for the student, their spouse and children, full academic tuition, medical and dental coverage without co-pay, and annual round trip tickets for the student and family, according to Dr. Musaid Assaf, Assistant Cultural Attaché for Technical Affairs at SACM.
