SUSRIS reports that US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel arrived in Riyadh on Monday.
“The trip has seen stops in Israel and Jordan with visits to Egypt and the United Arab Emirates on the agenda. Hagel was met at Riyadh Air Base by Deputy Defense Minister Fahd bin Abdullah, who was named to the post Saturday in a surprise announcement, and U.S. Ambassador James Smith,” SUSRIS editor Pat Ryan reports.
